Today, I headed to the Law Society of Scotland at the Carnegie Conference Centre, and I couldn’t be happier that I attended. After a complete change of career for myself this just didn’t seem to fit with where I am going, I was absolutely wrong!!!
Let’s start with………
This was definitely a confidence builder for this wee lassie from Kinglassie, who was once told she wouldn’t achieve much. Well, here I am, proving that I can accomplish what I set my mind to! 💪✨
For those who know me, you’ll remember that I spent the last 10 years working for our local Member of Parliament and had some time with the Citizens Advice Bureau. My journey took a delightful turn when I welcomed our adorable little puppies into my life, which made me realise that studying law wasn’t possibly the right path for me.
However, my focus has shifted. I’ve discovered that not only can I care for your animals, I can advocate for our four-legged babies too.
Animal welfare is very much a taboo, we need more open conversations and awareness 👏
I plan to continue my studies after graduation to allow myself a better voice for our furry friends 🎓
